A magnificent statue   "MAHARANA PRATAP SMARAK "

 

Located atop the Moti Magri Hill, on the banks of the charming Fateh Sagar Lake, Maharana Pratap Smarak is one of the most celebrated visiting point in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

This imposing statue of the legendary warrior- Maharana Pratap mounted on his horse Chetak was built by Maharana Bhagwat Singh in his memory. The captivating 11 ft statue is symbolic of courage, vigor and sheer love between animals and humans.

Not just the dwellers, this riveting life-sized bronze sculpture ignites an emotion of courage as well as love for the homeland in the hearts of tourists as well.

The memorials are set in a picturesque Japanese Rock Garden and feature other members of Pratap’s court- Bhamashah, Bhilu Raja, Jhalman.

A pleasant stroll around the entire garden can fill your nerves with tranquility and the mesmerizing view of the Fateh Sagar Lake atop the Pearl Hill is all the solace one needs to escape from the buzz of the city.

Apart from this, the light and sound showcasing the 1000 years of royalty in Mewar is also one of the major extractions of this enthralling visiting point in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
